The National Assembly extended the obligation to declare assets applicable to members of the National Assembly to Hungarian Members of the European Parliament. Pursuant to Act XX of 2025 on the amendment of certain acts regarding asset declaration obligations of of Members of the European Parliament, asset declarations must be submitted for the first time between May 29 and July 11, 2025, and thereafter annually during the term of office.
