Legal Remedies
Pursuant to Act XXXVI of 2013 on election procedure (Ve.) two types of remedies may be submitted to the election commissions, namely objection and appeal. Detailed information on the rules for submitting these two remedies is provided below.
Sample documents for filing an objection or an appeal:
- Sample document in Hungarian for the submission of an objection under section 208 of the Election Procedure Act.
- Sample document in Hungarian for the submission of an appeal under section 221 of the Election Procedure Act.

It is for the election commissions to determine whether the objections and appeals submitted comply with all legal requirements and will be considered on a case-by-case basis for each appeal submitted.
