Population and number of voters in settlements

Data on population and voters by settlements

You can download data on total population and voters in each municipality.

Population: the number of people residing in the municipality, plus the number of people staying in the municipality who are not registered as residents either there or elsewhere.

Number of voters: the number of residents of the municipality who are eligible to vote in the given election.

An exception to this is the number of people eligible to vote in local referendums, which also includes residents of other municipalities who have a place of residence in the given municipality. As a result, the number of people eligible to vote in a local referendum may exceed the population of the municipality. Voters who have both a residence and a temporary address may participate in the local referendum in both municipalities concerned.
