As in previous years, the National Election Office will provide a special service called "VIP service" to organizations running in the 2026 parliamentary elections and to the media. The purpose of the VIP service is to always provide uninterrupted access to election data, in xml format suitable for further processing. The VIP service is only available in Hungarian!

Expected schedule of the VIP service:

• January – call for interest and start of registration
• By mid-February – VIP XML description and test data sent
• March – data reporting from the national test run (for the entire database)
• Between 31. March and 2. April - National final test run and VIP test run
• April – live operation on election day (preliminary and exit poll data) and the day before (final database transfer).
