Information on the announcement

Pursuant to Section 13/E(2a) of Act XXXVI of 2013 on the electoral procedure, from January 1, 2026, the election office shall communicate its decision to reject or refuse an application, as well as its ex officio decision – with the exception of decisions concerning citizens without a Hungarian address except for decisions concerning the register of names, by means of a notice published on the day the decision is made, if it is not possible to communicate the decision in accordance with Sections 13/E(1) and (2) of Act XXXVI of 2013 on the electoral procedure.

The announcement shall be posted on the official website of the elections for ten days, and decisions concerning the electoral roll shall be posted until midnight on the day following the election at the latest. Decisions communicated by means of an announcement shall be deemed to have been communicated once the announcement has been published on the website.

The announcement is based on Section 13/E(2a) of Act XXXVI of 2013 on the electoral procedure and complies with the content requirements set out in Section 13/E(2b)(a)-(d).

The decisions on the register referred to above are published on the Hungarian website.
