Verification of voting documents
Verification of voting documents
The National Election Office first checks, based on the data in the identification statement, whether the person submitting the vote is listed in the register, whether the data provided in the statement fully (letter for letter) matches the data recorded in the electoral register, and whether the voter has already cast another vote by mail.
The verification process may be monitored by members of the National Election Commission, observers from the nominating organizations, and international observers. The press may also be present but may not review the voters' data.
