The National Election Committee, exercising the authorization granted in Section 34 (2)a)of Act C of 1997 on Electoral Procedure (hereinafter: Ve.), issues the following

resolution:

According to Section 25 (1) of the Ve., one additional member of the election committees - in addition to those mentioned in Section 23 - is appointed by a nominating organization that has nominated a candidate or a list in the constituency, or by an independent candidate.

In the event that two or more nominating organizations have nominated a joint individual candidate in a parliamentary individual constituency, and at the same time the organizations have nominated separate territorial lists in the county concerned, the nominating organizations may, under Section 25 (1) of the Ve., appoint one member to the ballot counting committees in the individual constituency of the joint candidate by virtue of the joint individual nomination, and in addition one additional member each by virtue of the separate territorial lists they have nominated.
