The National Election Committee, acting within its competence laid down in Section 90/A (4) a), Section 99/K (5) a), and Section 124/A (3) a) of Act C of 1997 on the electoral procedure (hereinafter: Ve.), issues the following

resolution

Based on Ve. Section 90 (1), Section 99/K (1), and Section 124 (1), a local election committee does not operate in the parliamentary election, the election of members of the European Parliament, and the national referendum - with the exception of settlements with one polling district.

According to Ve. Section 90/A (2) c), the parliamentary individual constituency election committee"decides on the objection related to the individual constituency election..."

According to Ve. Section 90/A (3) d), the regional election committee"decides on the objection related to the regional constituency election..."

Based on Ve. Section 99/K (4) a), the regional election committee"decides on the objection related to the election that exclusively affects its area of competence..."

Based on Ve. Section 124/A (2) a), the regional election committee"decides on the objection related to the referendum that exclusively affects its area of competence..."

According to the National Election Committee,

- in the parliamentary election, the parliamentary individual constituency election committee with jurisdiction over the location of the violation has the competence to decide on an objection related to the participation in the campaign of press organs specified in Ve. Section 44/A (1) a);

- in the parliamentary election, the regional election committee with jurisdiction over the location of the violation has the competence to decide on an objection related to the participation in the campaign of press organs specified in Ve. Section 44/A (1) a);

- in the election of members of the European Parliament, the regional election committee with jurisdiction over the location of the violation has the competence to decide on an objection related to the participation in the campaign of press organs specified in Ve. Section 44/A (1) a) that affects a given county;

- in a national referendum, the regional election committee with jurisdiction over the location of the violation has the competence to decide on an objection related to the participation in the campaign of press organs specified in Ve. Section 44/A (1) a) that affects a given county.

Simultaneously with the publication of this resolution in the Hungarian Gazette, the National Election Committee repeals Resolution 2/2006. (II. 9.) OVB.
