23/2006. (IX. 11.) OVB resolution on the failure of the deadline set out in Article 57 of Ve.*

The National Election Committee, acting within its competence laid down in Section 90/A (4) a), Section 99/K (5) a), Section 105/A (4) a), Section 115/I (8) a) and Section 115/P (5) a) of Act C of 1997 on the electoral procedure (hereinafter: Ve.), issues the following

resolution

on the failure to meet the deadline laid down in Ve. Section 57.

According to Ve. Section 57: "If a voter has been nominated for a candidate in more than one place within the same type of nomination, they must declare which nomination they accept no later than the 26th day before the election."

According to the National Election Committee, a voter nominated for a candidate in more than one place within the same type of nomination fulfills the legal conditions of the nomination by making the declaration required by Ve. Section 57.

A voter nominated for a candidate in more than one place within the same type of nomination becomes a candidate legally only if they make the declaration according to Ve. Section 57 within the deadline specified therein. If this deadline is missed, they must be deleted from the register of candidates in every place.
