The National Election Committee, acting within its competence as laid down in Section 34 (2)a) of Act C of 1997 on Electoral Procedure, issues the following resolution:

According to Section 47 (2) of Act XXXIV of 1989 on the election of parliamentary representatives (Vjt.), the election must be scheduled in such a way that neither the first nor the second round falls on a national holiday or a non-working day, or on the day before or after them.

The non-working days referred to in Vjt. Section 47 (2) are the non-working days defined in Section 125 (2) of Act XXII of 1992 on the Labor Code.
