The National Election Committee, acting within its competence laid down in Section 34 (2) a) of Act C of 1997 on the electoral procedure, issues the following resolution:

According to Section 47 (2) of Act XXXIV of 1989 on the election of Members of Parliament (Vjt.), the election must be called so that neither the first nor the second round falls on a national holiday or a public holiday, or on the day before or after them.

The public holidays referred to in Vjt. Section 47 (2) are the public holidays defined in Section 125 (2) of Act XXII of 1992 on the Labour Code.
