Budapest, 2024. May 3. – The National Election Commission (NEC) today drew lots to determine the order of the lists on the ballot paper for the election of MEPs. According to the law, the election commissions shall draw lots for the order of candidates and lists declared after 4 p.m. on the deadline for the declaration of candidates and lists. For the European Parliament elections, nominating organisations had until 4 p.m. on 3 May 2024 to submit their lists to the National Election Commission.
Following the draw, the order of the EP lists announced for the European Parliament elections is as follows:
- Megoldás Mozgalom
- LMP – Magyarország Zöld Pártja
- Demokratikus Koalíció – Magyar Szocialista Párt – Párbeszéd -ZÖLDEK
- Második Reformkor Párt
- Mindenki Magyarországa Néppárt
- Momentum Mozgalom
- FIDESZ-Magyar Polgári Szövetség – Kereszténydemokrata Néppárt
- Jobbik – Konzervatívok
- Új Alternatíva Párt
- Tisztelet és Szabadság Párt
- Magyar Kétfarkú Kutya Párt
- Mi Hazánk Mozgalom
- Nép Pártján
The content of the EP election ballot paper will be approved by the NEC once the decision on the registration of all the notified lists has become final.
