The National Election Office is an organization fulfilling the following duties: preparation, organization and implementation of elections; the non-partisan information of constituents, candidates, and nominating organizations; handling of election information; providing of technical conditions; monitoring of legal requirements and guarantees that relevant regulations are observed.
Government officials and civil servants can be appointed as members of the National Election Office.
The director of the National Election Office is appointed for an undetermined period of time by the Minister.
The activities of the elections offices are managed by the Minister through the director of the National Election Office.
